Accepted Paper at Interspeech 2017

The Paper on Machine assisted analysis on vowel length contrasts in Wolof [PDF], wrote by Elodie Gauthier, Laurent Besacier and Sylvie Voisin has been accepted to be presented at INTERSPEECH 2017.

The event will happen from August 20 to 24 and will be held at Stockholm University campus (Sweden).

This paper presents a large scale analysis of vowel length contrast on Wolof read speech, Wolof spontaneous speech and Faana-Faana (Wolof dialectal variant) spontaneous speech. We propose multiple features to make a fine evaluation of the degree of length contrast under different factors.
